A pan-African platform for IoT excellence

The International Conference on IoT and Related Technologies (ICIRT) is a biennial conference organized by the West African Consortium of Connected Objects (WACCON). After successful editions in 2024 and 2025, ICIRT returns for its 3rd edition in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from July 27 to 28, 2027.

The 2027 edition rises to a new ambition: a deeper international footprint, a Scopus-indexed proceedings, and a stronger focus on the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and IoT (AIoT), Edge Computing, Digital Twins and 5G/6G connectivity for sustainable development across Africa.

By bringing together academics, industry leaders, start-ups and policy-makers, ICIRT 2027 contributes to the achievement of key Sustainable Development Goals — notably SDGs n°2, n°3, n°9, n°12, n°13, and n°15.
