Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan

Located in Abidjan, the Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan (IUA) is a higher-education institution committed to training the next generation of African leaders. Its motto — "Nous formons les leaders de demain" — reflects a mission deeply aligned with ICIRT's vision of capacity building through technology and innovation.

The IUA campus offers modern facilities, including auditoriums, conference rooms, exhibition spaces, and break-out areas — fully equipped to welcome the international community of ICIRT 2027.

  Getting There

Abidjan is served by Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ), with direct flights from major European, African, and Middle Eastern cities. The airport is approximately 20–30 minutes by taxi from most parts of the city.

  Visa Information

Côte d'Ivoire offers an e-Visa system at snedai.com for most nationalities. Authors with accepted papers will receive an official invitation letter to facilitate their visa application.

  Accommodation

A list of recommended hotels near the venue (in Cocody, Marcory, and the Plateau districts) will be communicated upon registration. Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation.

  Climate & Currency

Late July in Abidjan is generally warm (24–28 °C) with occasional rain. The local currency is the CFA Franc (XOF); major credit cards are widely accepted. The official languages are French and English.

  Language

The conference is held in English. French is the official language of Côte d'Ivoire; basic English is spoken in international hotels and restaurants.

  Health & Safety

A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Côte d'Ivoire. We recommend travel insurance covering medical care and trip cancellation.
